The Book Game

I did this before, and I like this game:
Everyone's doing it.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

I have How Green Was my Valley:
"Whether my staring eyes made him look up or not, I do not know to this day, but when he saw me he moved his pencil from his mouth and out his finger up as though to say I was not to tell my mother, and then waved me to go on home."
